School in Residence - Sculptures Unveiled!

What a special unveiling event - the first time we got to see the completed sculptures!

Students from each of the School in Residence schools worked with QUAD's exhibiting artist Bruce Asbestos on a sculpture project. Students explored sculpting materials, created designs, and democratically selected their favourite design made by the group, for Bruce to produce a final outcome!

The Unveiling Event, held at QUAD, welcomed students, family and staff from all schools, plus QUAD staff, Board members, and Bruce. It was so exciting to see the selected designs come to life! A presentation of achievement was celebrated, Q&As with Bruce, and a rapturous round of applause for all involved!

The sculptures are now on display in each school setting!
